Could you introduce yourself please?
First of all, I wanted to thank you for this space, it is a pleasure to be able to share a part of myself with this community. My name is Enchanttres, I have been a TOP model within the BongaCams platform for three years and a businesswoman for a year and a half.
How did you decide to open your own studio? What made you make that decision?
Everything has been a process, I have been in the Webcam industry for approximately 6 years, I started as a monitor and trainer for one of the largest studios in Colombia, then I made the decision to be a Webcam model to show myself what I could achieve, I am an exclusive model for the BongaCams platform, in which I became a TOP model and in which I have managed to be one of the best in Latin America.
With all the experience I could acquire, I decided to open the doors of Enchanttres Studio, also because at some point in my career as a model I felt that I had already reached my highest point and the step I could follow was to have my own Webcam studio and become a businesswoman.
What are the best and worst experiences you have had during your entrepreneurial journey?
I always like to think positively, of course I have had negative experiences, but I take from there what helps me learn and move forward. The best experience without a doubt is constant growth.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of working in a studio for a starting model?
Many people who are outside the industry see Webcam models as an empirical occupation, when this profession has evolved to such a point that the models who become successful are truly professionals in what they do. In my opinion, there is no better way to be a professional Webcam model than to belong to a Webcam studio, a good studio! So I could say that the biggest advantage is going to school and being able to take advantage of constant training.
I don't know whether to talk about disadvantages because I believe that any barrier in any area of a person's life is in the mind, but to answer the question, I could say ignorance.
What is the next step you want to take in your business, that you want to share with us?
Significant alliances are vital, business expansion is crucial, and since nobody can know the whole truth, it is beneficial to learn from others.
What advice do you have for models who want to join a studio?
Nothing can answer this question better than the slogan of my Webcam studio, “if you can dream it, you can achieve it”, so I would tell all those dreamers that there are moments when the greatest things are hidden behind fear.
Many girls come to this full of fears and insecurities, but believing in yourself is the most important thing.
How do you think communication between the management of a studio and its models can be improved, from your personal experience?
The basis of any relationship is trust, giving models the confidence to be able to openly say what they think is important. Maybe it is a little easier for me because I am also a model, so I treat them how I would like to be treated.
What advice would you give to models who, like you, want to open their own business, whether it be a studio or any other business project?
Let them do it out of love, the majority of people who open businesses open them thinking about money, but money is only a consequence of doing what you are passionate about, obviously under responsibility, discipline and hard and constant work. Maybe it sounds cliché, but it is the key to everything.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our community?
To conclude, I would like to leave a message to all the women who are models and who are thinking about becoming one. Never compare yourself with anyone, each person's process is different, from my experience as a Studio owner, I have realised that the biggest barrier for a model is to compare herself with others, success is never in competing with others, but with oneself and this applies to everything in life.
